Home Zone (Ki-bun Zone) service allows subscribers to make local and long-distance calls at rates comparable to standard fixed-line services. The rates are currently KRW 39 per 3 minutes for all calls to fixed-line numbers, KRW 14 per 10 seconds for calls to mobile numbers, and KRW 9 per 10 seconds for calls to mobile numbers for premium plan subscribers.

Home Zone Service combines the benefits of the convenience of mobile phones with the thriftiness of fixed-line service in a single mobile handset. Home Zone Service is as easy as installing Access Point, the Home Zone Service device, in a place of choice. Whenever Home Zone Service subscriber makes a call within 30m from the Access Point, the call automatically registers at a rate comparable to fixed-line service. Up to seven mobile handsets can be operated via a single Access Point.

Consisting of three tariff plans, Light, Standard, and Premium, Home Zone Service offers more savings to subscribers: It costs KRW 39 per 3 minutes for local and long-distance calls, and KRW 14 per 10 seconds for mobile-to-mobile calls. Premium Home Zone Service subscribers are offered special rate of KRW 9 per 10 seconds for mobile-to-mobile calls. Note that fixed-line service providers charge long-distance rates if the call is made to destinations farther than 30km: Long-distance callers enjoy more savings as Home Zone Service charges the same competitive rate to both local and long-distance calls.
